be part of the team.

We're putting together a group of drivers to join TEAM performanceINSIDER.com for the 2007 season. Cool stuff, great opportunities, and you could win a free racing school! Check it out.

Be part of the TEAM. You could win a FREE racing school with Gary Curtis of Donnybrooke Motorsports!

As one of the TEAM performanceINSIDER.com drivers for 2007 you will receive personal driving coaching on the performanceINSIDER website and a full day of instruction with Gary Curtis and his crew at the Donnybrooke Motorsports Racing School, with plenty of track time at Brainerd International Raceway.

If you've ever stood around after a day of driving just for the enjoyment of telling track stories, you're already half qualified to be a member of TEAM performanceINSIDER.com. You see, we're looking for drivers across the country who are determined to improve their skills, and are willing to share their stories along the way. If that's you, we can help with a free racing school and coaching!

The racing school will be at Brainerd International Raceway, sometime during the fall. You'll get classroom instruction, and spend the day on the track driving a Ford Spec Racer capable of 135 mph down the main BIR straight. And as you'll see below it's easy to win, so hurry, winners will be chosen before the end of May!

Here's the rest of the story on how you can earn a spot on TEAM performanceINSIDER.com. You have to...

  • Drive at a novice to intermediate level
  • Plan to participate in four to six high speed events in the 2007 season
  • Write up your experiences from each event, for publishing on www.performanceINSIDER.com (we'll help with the formatting, but this could include short feature articles, discussion questions submitted to your online coach, and guest blogging)
  • Share some photos and/or video, to go with your stories
  • And this is important: As soon as you've read this, use the form below to provide us a with short story on some past event you've driven, or a driving lesson you'd like to share. We really want to hear from you!

You don't have to be a star writer or photographer. You don't have to have an expensive car, or belong to any certain club. No purchase is necessary, but you do need to be a member of performanceINSIDER.com. And TEAM members will also receive online coaching for their driving issues, from Donnybrooke, all through the season. That's right...it's like having your own driving coach!

We will choose 25 TEAM members (no later than June 1st) who will receive performanceINSIDER.com t-shirts, window decals, and online coaching for the year. And five lucky TEAM members will be chosen from this group for the Donnybrooke Racing school this fall. What are you waiting for? Sign up now!

Now finish off your story with several paragraphs where you share the details.  You can tell your story simply, with a description of how the day or event went from start to finish, or you can be more entertaining and have some with your story.
